Matt has been a Tenant representative, Landlord representative and Master Broker for over 25 years and is responsible for leasing more than 5 million square feet of retail space. Over the years, he has exclusively represented a countless number of Tenants in their search for new Retail locations and has also assisted them in their disposition efforts.
In addition to placing Staples into over 100 locations, Matt represented them in the acquisition of the Rickel Home Centers chain, which was a 42 store acquisition with a purchase price of $42 million which led to the disposition of more than 300k square feet of space. Matt has represented many major and local developers and Landlords in their leasing efforts on all types of retail properties ranging from, small strip centers, power centers & regional malls to store fronts in commercial business districts in the suburbs and in urban areas.
Matt was recognized in 2011 by Staples as a 20 year Staples Realty Veteran and Founding Broker. He is also a 2013 & 2014 CoStar Power Broker Award winner and was the recipient of the Westchester Business Council’s ‘Rising Stars/Entrepreneur 40 under 40 award in June 2006.
Jeff has been with Lamar since 1990 and became Vice President of Leasing in 1996. He has been instrumental in the success of the company over the years in many ways. The most outstanding is his completion of leasing roughly 4 million square feet of space in Lamar’s shopping centers. Jeff has an extensive network of national retailers, developers and brokers. He received a BA from SUNY-Geneseo and was certified to teach at the University of South Florida. Prior to joining Lamar, Jeff spent 15 years in bar/restaurant management and also taught high school! Now that’s a teacher we all would have loved to have!
David is a licensed real estate broker and sales associate in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. He has worked for 11 years in commercial real estate with a primary focus on retail leasing and sales. Before commercial real estate, David was Senior Vice President of a large wristwatch importer and was responsible for over $100 million in annual sales while heading up the mass market division that was the largest vendor to Wal-Mart, Kmart, and Target.
David has represented many national retailers in his brokerage career including Chase, CVS, Sherwin Williams, Dunkin Donuts, 7-Eleven, and Subway to name a few. He currently represents Sprint, Sedona Tap House, 18-8 Men’s Salon, Bob’s Discount Furniture and Ulta Beauty. David's Landlord representation is an extensive list throughout the NY metro area.
